Randall Dewayne "Randy" Smith

Randall Dewayne “Randy” Smith of Spencer passed away on November 1, 2023.

He was born on September 14, 1956 to the late James and Pansy Dancy Smith.

Mr. Smith was a nine year veteran of the US Navy, serving throughout the Mediterranean. He worked at Clayton Homes for over 20 years. He enjoyed watching the Tarheels, Carolina Panthers, and NASCAR. His favorite places to eat were Blue Bay and Hendrix Barbeque. Mr. Smith was a loyal son and he spent most of his time taking care of his mother until she passed.

He is survived by two brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Rowan Memorial Park, with military honors conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Joint Services Honor Guard.
