Ray “Buck” Bradshaw Drye, Jr., 91, of Salisbury passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born in Cabarrus County on May 20, 1930, he was the son of the late Ray Bradshaw Drye, Sr. and Lula Ninabelle Lemmons Drye.

Mr. Drye loved to paint and made a career out of it. He enjoyed doing handyman projects and his family and children are what he lived for and loved deeply.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Barry Ravon Drye and siblings, Burley Ralph Drye and Thelma Drye Freeze.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Peggy Oliver Drye; children, Cindy Allen, Wayne Drye, Pam Allman, Danny Drye, and Timothy Drye; sister, Lucille Drye Smith; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
