Revonda "Jigger" (Holshouser) Goodman

Revonda “Jigger” Holshouser Goodman of Salisbury, NC, passed away on May 24th, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Revonda was born on May 24th, 1963 a daughter to the late Adolphus and late Margaret Stokes Holshouser. After graduating from East Rowan High School she received her cosmetology degree from Rowan Cabarrus Community College but her real passion was for photography. Revonda spent over 20 years working as a lab technician developing film and loved taking pictures at family gatherings. She enjoyed every moment with her two grandchildren, whether it was at the park or just sitting around the dinner table. Revonda always loved to fish, especially with her brothers and sisters during family beach trips where many wonderful memories were made. She will always be remembered as a humble soul and a fearless fighter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolphus and Margaret Holshouser; sister, Marion Leach; and brother, Ricky Holshouser. Left to cherish her memories are her brother Gene Holshouser of Florida; sister Phyllis Ingram of Granite Quarry; her children Alex Goodman of Faith, and Amanda Goodman of Illinois; grandchildren Savannah and Jason Goodman, along with many other relatives and friends.

Services: Visitation will be at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 3760 Stokes Ferry Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146 on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. A graveside service will be held at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, 8625 US 52 Hwy, Rockwell, NC 28138 at 1 pm with the Rev. Dr. Steve Holshouser officiating.
