Richard Harrison Turner

Richard Harrison Turner passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 70.

He was born on February 03, 1954, in Madison, Indiana to the late William and Elva Turner.

Richard went to school at Florida State University where he received a Master’s in Social Work. He was a retired social worker for the Salisbury VA. He loved his dogs and cat, football, and helping others.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Sammi Ervin of Salisbury, NC; his brother Bill Turner of Leander, TX; his sister Leona Sue Turner Wiggins of Port St. Lucie, FL; his nieces Glee Renee Soloman of Nashville, TN, Staci Mullins of Lubbock, TX, and Ashley Howell of Forney, TX; and his nephew Andrew Wiggins of Port St. Lucie, FL.

There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
