Robert A. Lareau, Jr.

Robert A. Lareau, Jr. passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 78 at the North Carolina State Veteran's Home in Salisbury, NC.

He was born on July 30th, 1947 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio to the late Robert Armand Lareau, Sr. and Marion Estelle Fletcher.

He was a Vietnam veteran, working in naval aviation on the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown and later worked as a self-employed plumber.

He loved to ride his motorcycle, wood carving, and making wooden toys for his great grandchildren. He was an avid reader, especially books from James Patterson and David Baldacci.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Armand Rudolph Lareau

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Tammy Ann Morley (Simon Morley); son, James Joseph Lareau; siblings, Sue Dean and Steve Lareau; grandchildren, Robert McKinney and Heather Harlen; great grandchildren, Blake, Drake, Lakyn, Ryker and Tucker. He is also survived by Suzi Q, his pet companion of the last three years.
