Robert Russell Weed

Robert Russell Weed passed away at his home on October 19, 2025, at the age of 99.

He was born on August 13, 1926, in Newfane, NY to the late Russell W. and Delcina Weed.

Robert retired from the City of Daytona Beach, FL. He was a classic music collector and a proud veteran of the Army Air Corp.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Isabelle and his second wife Lyola, as well as his daughters Cheryl Harper and Robyn Reynolds.

He is survived by his brother Kenneth Weed of Erie, PA; sisters Elaine Waide of Erie, PA and Linda Peskorski of Girard, PA; daughter Karen Herndon of Salisbury, NC; son-in-law Gary Herndon of Salisbury, NC; son Russell Weed; 2 other sons-in-law; and 11 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 4:00 pm on Thursday October 30, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 205 St Paul Church Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146.
