Ronald Bradley Sigmon

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Bradley Sigmon, 49, who left us too soon but left behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Brad was a man of many passions. A devoted Notre Dame football fan,
he  could always be found cheering on his team with unwavering enthusiasm. He loved being outdoors, embracing the beauty of nature and the freedom it brought him. His sense of humor was legendary—his quick wit and love for comedy could brighten even the darkest days. A true heavy metal fan, music was a source of energy and connection for him. But above all, Brad cherished his time spent with family and friends, creating bonds that will last forever.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Medlin Sigmon; his father, Brian Ronald Sigmon; his bonus mother, Jeannie Sigmon; his brother, Matthew Dudley (Jennifer); his sisters, Chelsea Houser (Brandon) and Brianna Dyer; and many nieces and nephews who adored him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Broadway Dudley, and his bonus father, Roger Dudley.

Brad’s presence in our lives was a gift, and though he is no longer physically with us, his love, laughter, and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held on April 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the family home, 141 Harriet Lane, Statesville, where we will gather to celebrate his life, share stories, and remember the incredible man he was.

Rest easy, Brad. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
