Samuel Todd Brantley passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 61.
He was born on September 10, 1963, in Kansas to the late Thomas Brantley II and Jeanette Rich.
Samuel was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division in the United States Army. He simply loved life. He was an active member of his church. His kids and granddaughter were his life. When he wasn’t with his family or at church, you could find him somewhere on a bulldozer. He loved being outside, loved body building, loved singing (even though he wasn’t good at it), and he loved being the life of the party. Samuel will be greatly missed by his friends and loved ones.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jason Bradford Brantley.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers Michael Eric Cook of Longview, TX, Chris Brantley of Phoenix, AZ, and Chip Brantley of Virginia Beach, VA; his sons Samuel Jacob Brantley of Woodleaf and Jonathan Butler of Lexington; his daughter Meghan Hannah of Greensboro; as well as his granddaughter Thea Zuccaro of Greensboro.
A visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday June 28, 2025, at Mooresville Freewill Baptist, 17607 Mooresville Rd, Mooresville, NC 28115. The service will follow at 12:00 pm.
Flowers can be sent to the church on service day.
