Shirley Hughes Obituary

Shirley Hughes, 77, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024 at her residence.

Born in Cherokee County, NC on September 30, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Alene Anderson and Harold Daniel Hughes, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Hughes.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Hughes (Sabrina) and Christopher Hughes, both of Salisbury; daughter, Terri Smith of Welcome, NC; brothers, Randy Hughes and Phil Hughes, both of Salisbury; special cousin, Terry Lunsford of Salisbury; grandchildren, Michael, Caleb, and Steven Hughes of Salisbury and Logan Smith of Tega Cay, SC.

No services will be held at this time.
