Susan Jane Edwards

Susan Jane Edwards, 83, of Rockwell earned her angel wings on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.  She was born in Durham, NC in 1943, and was preceded in death by her husband Stuart Lee Edwards. He was the love of her life, and they are now reunited for eternity.

She retired from Celanese after many years of service. Once she retired, she followed her lifelong dream of working with flowers and opened Butterflies and Daisies Florist in Rockwell. She made many people smile with her beautiful floral arrangements, With her loyal fur baby Zach by her side, she spent many happy days living out this dream.

Left to cherish her memory are her children:

She leaves behind four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, who will learn our memories of her that will be shared over time.

The family would like thank the staff at Compass Rehabilitation Center in Spencer for the wonderful care of their mother. There are too many staff members to list, but each made her life special in their own way and it is very much appreciated. Mom thought a lot of each of you and considered you a part of her family.
