Timothy Reno Smith

Timothy Reno Smith, 60, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Duval County Florida on November 1, 1962, he was the son of  Nancy Ann Knopf Duke and the late Reno Jackson Smith.

Tim was very talented in woodworking. His love for this craft enabled him to create treasures such as guns, bowls, boxes, chests, cabinets, clocks and just about anything else out of wood. He also had a love for grilling out for his family. The weather did not matter to him anytime was a good time for a BBQ. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Reno Jackson Smith.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Burris Smith whom he was married to for 39 years, mother Nancy Knopf Duke; sons James Smith (Mary), Jeremy Smith (Tiffany), daughter Kayla Smith (Travis Horne) grandchildren Jayden Smith, Elly Smith, Aubree Jordan, Zane Smith, Zoey Smith, brother Raymond Smith (Misty), sisters Jan Snider (Alan Hinson), Deborah Morton,

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday July 29, 2023 at his home in the afternoon.
