VeEtta Herlene Roberts

VeEtta Herlene Roberts passed away with her loving family in her home on June 22, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on September 10, 1953, in Rowan County to the late Basle Roberts Sr. and Vietta Fair Roberts.

VeEtta graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Livingstone College in 1985. She loved to draw, spend time with family, and her favorite vacation spot was the beach.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Aubren Harris, and her sisters, Gladys Steele and Sadie Roberts.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Ebony (Robert) Harris  of Salisbury and Tiffany Roberts of Cleveland; six grandchildren: NyAsia Harris, Zaedrian Harris, Jacari Harris, Jayden “Juke” Harris, Kaleb Harris, all of Salisbury, and Loyalty Roberts of Cleveland; one great-grandchild: Roman Harris of Lexington; five siblings: Vicky Hyman of Salisbury, Basle Roberts Jr. of Salisbury, Rev. Dr. Karen Roberts Miller (Rev. Dr. Calvin Miller, Presiding Elder, Winston-Salem District) of Salisbury, Ruth Roberts of Winston-Salem, and Catherine Roberts of Charlotte; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Repass will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Caldwell St., Salisbury, NC, Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
