Vinny N. Munoz

Vinny N. Munoz, 55, of Salisbury passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born in Riverside, CA on January 21, 1965, he was the son of the late Carmen Margaret Navarro Munoz and Peter Chagolla Munoz.

Vinny attended school in Perris, CA. He worked as a technician for Time Warner Cable, later Spectrum, for 10-12 years and worked as a mechanic in California for 20 years. He was a volunteer firefighter for Franklin Fire Department for about 10 years. The joy of his life was spending time with his grandchildren, and he loved fishing, hunting, playing music, and firefighting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Peter N. Munoz.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, DeeAnn McDaniel Munoz, whom he married on December 30, 1988; son, Vincent J. Munoz of Salisbury; daughters, Liza Figueroa of Riverside, CA, Amanda Munoz of Wilkesboro, and Selena Cornacchione of Salisbury; brothers, Reuben Munoz of Riverside, CA and Mario Munoz of Temecula, CA; sisters, Julie Mendoza of Perris, CA, Rita Luna of Temecula, CA, Christina Munoz of Redlands, CA, Teresa Munoz of Perris, CA, and Cecile Carney of Victorville, CA; grandchildren, Aubree, Violet, Kaius, and Alyssa.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
