Voltair Lavern Mowery, 63, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her residence.
Born in Rowan County on January 27, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Louise Rabon Parker and Charles Elmer Mowery.
Ms. Mowery worked as a manager for McDonald’s for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and mountains. She loved shopping but her greatest love was spending her free time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Hudgins and her brother, Charles Allen Mowery.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronnie Bunton, Jr.; daughters, Cheryl Wheat, Kimberley Bunton, and Christy Bunton; brothers, Terry Mowery, Randy Mowery, Eric Mowery, Roger Mowery, and Doug Mowery; sisters, Sonja Medford, Glenda Swisher, and Kristina Saleeby; grandchildren, Corey, Cameron, Katherine, Myrranda, Madeline, Macy, Karyssa, Logan, Harper, and Jameson.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2255 E. Ridge Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144, with Pastor Scott Faw officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
