Walter Byron Barber Jr.

Walter “Wally” Byron Barber Jr. passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 65.

He was born on June 12, 1959, in Mecklenburg County to the late Walter Barber Sr. and Bette Kepley Barber.

Walter was very musically talented on the piano and loved to play. He also loved his nephews and niece and spending time with them.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers John (Pam) Barber of Salisbury and Alan (Robin) Barber of Cleveland; his three nephews and one niece; and all his great nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday December 8, 2024, at Christ Episcopal Church, 3430 Old US Hwy 70, Cleveland NC 27013.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Christ Episcopal Church in Cleveland.
