Wendle Annette Simmons Pruett, 74, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday March 8, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born on November 3, 1947, in Madison Co. Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Parham & Oscar Aspen Simmons.
She was a member of World Hope Worship Center and loved listening to gospel and country music. She enjoyed drawing and coloring and loved to bake cakes. She valued spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both parents, daughter Donna Loflin, brothers William, Larry, & Bob Simmons, sisters Hazel Caughenour and Mazelle Roach.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years Oliver Pruett, son David Wayne Pruett (Jessica) of Salisbury, daughters Sherry Leonard (Jimmy) of Salisbury, Patty Pruett of Salisbury, sister Shirley Patrick of Georgia, grandchildren Tony Leonard, Chris Leonard, Karen Johnson, Deven Pruett, Alysa Pruett, great grandchildren Adam Thompson, Natalie Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Austin Johnson, Harvey Leonard.
Visitation will be held at World Hope Worship Center on Saturday March 12, 2022, 12:00 PM
Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bob Bankhead officiating the service.
Burial will follow at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
