Wilbert Edwin Hall, Jr.

Wilbert Edwin Hall, Jr., known as “Eddie” to his friends and family passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 65. 

Eddie was born November 20, 1957 to loving parents, Wilbert and Helen Hall who installed their values of family, hard work and kindness.

Eddie lived his life working hard in his self employed business as a licensed electrician for many many years. He was a kind, giving, caring and helpful person who enjoyed finding good solutions to problems, not only his job but also in helping others.

Eddie found joy in simple things such as watching old westerns on TV as well as all shows from his childhood and even though he had seen them all several times, he would love watching them again and again.

He was a lover of good food and knew all the restaurants in Salisbury and their menus and was always looking for someone to go with him to have a meal.

Eddie loved his family, always asking about nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and wanted to be kept up to date with their lives and the activities they were involved in.

Eddie is survived by his sister and brother in law, Steve and Teresa Houck, niece Cara Sorrell (Stuart, Madalynn, Thomas), nephew Nick Barnes (Desiree, Layla), nephew Stevie Houck (Nhung, Jackson, Lyly, Emma) and nephew Drew Houck.

He will be honored in a service on Saturday, July 22, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 4401 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury NC 28147. A meal will be provided following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.
