Gary Wayne Thompson

Gary Wayne Thompson, 38, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Long Branch, NJ on April 2, 1980, he worked as a crane operator for a construction company.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Karycinski.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Darrell Bolick of Salisbury; daughter, Jewelle Bailynn Thompson of the home; brothers, Henry Thompson (Heather Sullivan) of Spencer, Billy Thompson of Salisbury, Charles Nightingale (Molly) of Nebraska; sisters, Rhonda McIntyre (Mike Dowdall) of Greensboro, Cindy Wheeler of Virginia, Melissa Simonelli (Jeff Newinski) of New Jersey, Laura Lynch (Mike) of New Jersey.

Service: 2:00 PM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1908 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144 with the Rev. John Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
