John H. Gillis, 82, of Brookline, MA passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.
Born in Brighton, MA on November 16, 1935, he was the son of the late Anastasia O’Halloran Gillis and Everett Gillis.
A veteran of the US Army, Mr. Gillis worked as a salesman for Tiffany & Co. before retiring.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Everett, Richard and Francis Gillis and sister, Dorothy Hand.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Mary Scarfo of Fort Mill, SC and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange St., Boston, MA 02132.
