June Kay Hall, 73, of Salisbury passed away April 24, 2019 at the Laurels of Salisbury.
Born in Charlaroi, PA on August 15, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Helen King and Henry Earle Metzger.
Mrs. Hall attended Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA and worked as an elementary school teacher. She was raised in Beaver Falls, PA and upon marrying she resided in Galveston, TX from 1970-1972, Port Arthur, TX from 1972-1973, Kodiak, AK from 1973-1975, San Francisco, CA from 1975-1983, Southwest Harbor, ME from 1983-1986, Sault Ste. Marie, MI from 1986-1989, Augusta, ME from 1989-2011 and Salisbury, NC from 2011-Present.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earle Metzger and sister, Margaret Emelson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Henry “Bud” Hall, whom she married on August 12, 1970; mother-in-law, Sarah Hall of West Palm Beach, FL; nieces, Elizabeth Emelson of Washington, DC, Elizabeth Kluge of Southlake, TX; nephew, Brian Emelson of Rochester, NY and her beloved pet, Maxwell.
Visitation: 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Christ United Methodist Church, 3401 Mooresville Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147.
Service: 11:00 AM Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jill Smith officiating.
