Lillie Pinkston Bogle, 92, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in Rowan County on January 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Ethel Graham Pinkston and the late Adam Locke Pinkston.
Lillie was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxilary, loved to quilt, loved the Atlanta Braves, but her greatest enjoyment was word search puzzle books.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Monroe Bogle; sisters, Ailene Pinkston, Elsie Lowder; brothers, John Pinkston and Tom Pinkston.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Beverly Bogle Keener, and son in law Gaither M. Keener of Mooresville; sisters, Martha Bogle (Homer) of Charleston, SC and Hazel Cline (Bill) of China Grove; grandchildren, Joseph T. Keener (Kristi) of Waxhaw and Grace Keener Jones (Kevin) of Whitsett; great-grandchildren, Katherine, Logan and Finley Keener and Mac Jones.

Service: 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in Sanctuary of Salem Lutheran Church 5080 Sherrills Ford Road, Salisbury, NC 28147, with the Rev. Tom Corbell officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
