Rita Hulon

Rita Hulon, 59, of Salisbury passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born in Dillon, SC on February 26, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Helen Barfield Hulon and Vernie Hulon.

Rita was a homemaker. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching the Carolina Panthers, reading, playing spades and monopoly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Siddie and her sister, Ann.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Melissa Tortorello (Tony) of China Grove, Kasey Hunt of Salisbury, Ashley Gonzalez of Salisbury; brothers, Roddy Hulon of Salisbury, Raye Hulon of Salisbury; grandchildren, Karisma Carter, Hunter Gonzalez, Thomas Barker, Ryder Swaim, Kayla Goforth and Nathan Goforth.

Memorial Service: 3:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Second Baptist Church, 807 Sweet Gum St., Kannapolis, NC 28083 with Pastor Gary Scoggins officiating.
