William Lee Givens, Sr., 63, of Salisbury, passed away on July 24, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Mobile, Alabama on July 18, 1956, son of the late Katherine Willard Odom and the late Arthur Winford Odom, Sr.

William worked in construction as a roofer and was a Yadkin Valley Rider. He was preceeded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, William Lee Givens, Jr. of Rockwell and Anthony Wayne Givens of Salisbury; brothers, Ward Freeman Givens, of Spartanburg, SC and Arthur Odom of Faith; sisters, Kathy Welch of Kannapolis, Lynn Stutts of Mooresville, Annette Bentley of Salisbury and Avie Pyles of Guadalajara, SC, grandchildren; Jenise Gilbert, Alexis Givens, Serenity Givens, Kaylee Givens, Abram Givens and Bentley Givens, great-granddaughter, Violet, and a host of nieces and nephews.
