Worth B. Cline, 84, of Salisbury passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, at his daughter’s residence in Rockwell, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Rowan County, NC on April 27, 1934, he was the son of the late Albert L. Cline and the late Grace E. Jarvis Cline.
Worth worked as a welder for many years for L.A. Reynolds in Winston-Salem, and later retired from Fuchs Systems Inc. He was educated in the Spencer School System and served in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He was an avid NASCAR fan especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale, Jr., he loved going to Gulf Shores AL to fish, the Atlanta Braves and WWE wrestling.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, wife Rubydell Hoomes Cline whom he married on June 21, 1974, two brothers, Ed and Leroy Cline.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughters, Karen Hutto (Andy) and Sonya Blick, both of West Columbia, SC step daughter, Cindy Shinn (Mike) of Rockwell; step sons, Frank Teague of Salisbury, John Teague (Terri) of Raleigh; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 1:00-2:00 PM Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Brookhill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 8625 Hwy. 52, Rockwell, NC 28138.
Service: 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Brookhill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Military Honors being conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Honor Guard.
