Betty Keys Baynard, 60, of Lexington passed away on June 9, 2018 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 7, 1957, in Henry County, Virginia to the late James W. Keys and the late Myrtle Stoneman Keys Seagraves. Betty was a Christian by faith, enjoyed reading and helping other. She attended Salisbury High School and worked as a manager in the restaurant business.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Lewis Baynard whom she married October 24, 1976 brothers Jesse Keys, Roy Keys and Johnny Keys.
Betty is survived by her sons, Rodney Baynard of Salisbury Michael Baynard (Melanie) of Lexington, daughters, Regina Burnham (Frank) of Rockwell, Tonda Bolander (Ray) of Salisbury, Sabrina Norman (William) of Welcome, brothers, Richard Keys (Margaret) of China Grove and Tony Keys (Janet) of Salisbury, 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Trading Ford Baptist Church, 3600 Long Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146
Service: 1PM Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Trading Ford Baptist Church with the Rev. Zachary Sizemore officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 1307 W. US Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27295.
