Brenda Kacmar Obituary

Brenda Edmundson Kacmar, 72, of Salisbury passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born in Rowan County on September 2, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Thompson Edmundson and Dallas D. Edmundson.

Mrs. Kacmar was a graduate of Boyden High School. She was a homemaker and loved gardening, flowers, and reading, but her greatest love was taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Stephen “Kac” Kacmar, Sr. and sister, Mary Elizabeth Edmundson.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Kacmar, Jr. and Jonathan D. Kacmar, both of Salisbury; daughter, Angela K. Felts (Keith) of Charlotte; sister, Nancy Edmundson Peeler (Tony) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Michael Felts and Brianna Felts; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
