Catherine "Cat" (Albright) Feezor

Catherine “Cat” Albright Feezor, 91, went home to her Lord and savior peacefully on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at her home.

Born April 21, 1929, in Rowan County to the late Georgia Hood Albright and Ira Albright, she was one of seven children. She was educated in the Salisbury schools. She worked with her late husband, Arthur Lee Feezor, at Feezor Oil Company.

She was a longtime member of Oakdale Baptist Church, Spencer, where she taught Sunday school and was in the WMU.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Marvin Feezor, in 2019.

She loved to crochet and knew how to do all kinds of caning and could weave baskets. She also refinished furniture. Catherine was known for her delicious butter mints made for the holidays. She grew a variety of flowers and had a large garden for many years, canning much of what grew there. She attended the meal site at Oakdale Baptist and the exercise program. She was a survivor of both colon and breast cancer, as well as a heart attack. She was devoted to her family. She always said she had a good life.

Survivors include son Bob Feezor (Susan) of Concord, daughter Karen Feezor of Raleigh, and daughter-in-law, Debra Feezor of Salisbury; grandchildren Hunter Feezor (Brittany), Pittsboro; Amy Feezor (Pierre Haderer), Paris, France; David Feezor (Anna), Charlotte; Steven Feezor (Priscilla), Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Cole Feezor, Mason Feezor, Addison Feezor, and Cameron Feezor; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Jeannie Weant and Matt Carpenter for the love and care they helped provide to Mrs. Feezor.

Services: Graveside, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Oakdale Baptist Church, with the Rev. Richard Gross and the Rev. Rick Freeborn officiating. Covid precautions will be observed.
