Dorothy "Dot" (Edwards) Foil

Dorothy “Dot” Edwards Foil passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Laurels in Salisbury. She was born in Rowan County to the late Clayton and Katherine Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Young, Marion Holshouser and brother Jack Edwards. She was married to the late Ed Foil on June 19, 1949.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Rhonda Rabon and sister Jean Kluttz (Jimmy). She also has two grandchildren Darren Rabon, Jenny Salyers (Paul) and great granddaughter Chloe Salyers.

Mrs Foil graduated from East Spencer School and retired from Woolworth Department Store. She was a member of Haven Lutheran Church and worked on several different committees. Her love of arts and crafts led her to becoming a member of the Southside Homemakers club for many years.

Graveside service will be held at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Road, Salisbury, NC 28144 on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven Lutheran Church, 207 West Harrison Street, Salisbury, NC 28144 or Rowan County Animal Shelter at Shelter Guardians, Inc., P.O. Box 1934, Salisbury, NC 28145.
