Elizabeth Ann (Wensil) Beaver

Elizabeth Ann Wensil Beaver passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 89.

She was born on February 23, 1935, in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Harry Wensil and Josie Barger.

Elizabeth worked at Roffler Coiffure with her husband Roy Beaver Sr. She was also a member of the St. Matthews Episcopal Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Roy Beaver Sr and her brother Ron Wensil.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Helen Kay Schick of Cleveland, NC; her son Walter Roy Beaver Jr (Rita) of Cleveland, NC; her grandchildren Michael Mauriello (Amber), Chris Mauriello (Liz), Nick Mauriello (Celeste), Jody Bare (Amber), and Jason Bare; her great-grandchildren Ayden, Bridger, Josie, Kenneth, Andrew, Tyler Bare (Katie), Miranda Bare, and Jacob Bare; her great-great-grandchildren Lilah and Lydia Bare; her brother James Luther “Bud” Wensil of Beaufort, SC; her nieces Kathy, Michelle, and Susan; her great niece Sarah; and her great-great niece Cadence.

A visitation will be held 11:00-12:00 on Saturday April 13, 2024, at the parlor of the St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 4401 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28147. The funeral will be at 12:00 pm and will be officiated by Rev. Frederick Clarkson. The burial will follow the service at the church cemetery and Elizabeth will be laid to rest beside her husband Roy.

The family asks that all memorials be made to the church, St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
