Ernest Paul Geelen

Ernest Paul Geelen, 74, of Salisbury passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2021, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in Lambert Pennsylvania on September 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Blanche Alverta Harbarger Geelen and John David Geelen.
Mr. Geelan was a salesman at heart and made a living of route sales and car sales. He was a devout Baptist that loved to spread The Word of God and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. He loved this family and granddaughters. He also enjoyed football, hunting and fishing in his younger days.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers John, Harley, Joe and baby Bobby Geelen , a sister Lillian Geelen Cale.
Those left to cherish his memory is his son Shawn Geelen (Lisa) of Statesville NC, daughter Stephanie Geelen of Daytona Beach Fl., grandchildren Danielle, Lauren, Kylie and Hannah and 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Beatty Wolfe and Pearl Holt.
Funeral service will be held at Gospel Light Baptist Church on Sunday September 26, 2021, 2:30 pm, with Pastor Rick Hildebrand officiating.
