Freddy Rogers

Freddy Rogers, 67, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Born on March 16, 1954, he was the son of the late Fred Winston Rogers and Margaret Livengood Rogers-Kurfees and stepfather Jack Dempsey Kurfees.

In addition to his parents and stepfather, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Livengood.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Pam Phillips; son, Charles Brian Rogers and grandson Maxx Rogers of Mooresville; step daughters, Kelly Rodgers (Clint) of Cleveland and Missy Maddix (Sam) of Salisbury; sisters, Judy Diana Rogers O’Quinn (Charles) of Durham and Kay Rogers Burgess (James, Jr.) of Falmouth, MA; aunt, Margaret O. Rogers of Mt. Ulla; brother-in-law, Gary Livengood of Cleveland; step grandchildren, Amy and Brandon Rodgers; nephews, Gary Donald Graham, Robert “Bobby” Alan Graham, Winston Horton (Alisa) and daughter Raylynn; Jason Williams (Conna) and children Sawyer and Sophie; nieces, April Michelle Brooks, Sydney Day (Sean) of Mt. Ulla and children Emmett and Elliott, and Madison Livengood; beloved pets, Gizmo and Bear. The family would like to thank Karen Patterson, Sharon Lloyd, Donnie Graham, and Claude and Connie Rogers for all of their care and support during Freddy’s final days.

Visitation: 1:00-2:00 PM Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Salem Lutheran Church, 5080 Sherrills Ford Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147.

Service: 2:00 PM Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Dawn Rister officiating.
