Irma (Burleson) Presson

Irma Burleson Presson passed away on April 11, 2022 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born in Stanly County on March 15, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Lottie Plyler Burleson and B. Claude Burleson.

Mrs. Presson graduated from Albemarle High School. She loved Milford Hills United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and attended Sunday school for many years. She worked for the rationing board during World War II and was the bookkeeper for Presson Construction. She was also part owner of WZKY in Albemarle. Mrs. Presson was a wonderful cook and read her bible every day. She loved to garden and especially loved her family and getting together with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jake T. Presson and brother, Ted Burleson.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, J. Daryl Presson (Sarah) and Marshall T. Presson (Emily), both of Salisbury; daughter, Cindy Kriminger (John) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Suzanne Barger (Shane), Sam Krohn, Taylor Kriminger (Tyler), Haley Kriminger (Alden); great-grandchildren, Jayden Barger, Kolton Barger, Kathryn Roseman, Mason Kriminger, Shelby Krohn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service: 11:00 AM Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Fairview Memorial Park, 1425 E. Main St., Albemarle, NC 28001 with the Rev. Jim Parsons officiating.
