James “Mike” Michael Nesbit, 71, of Salisbury, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021.
A native of Rowan County born on January 8, 1950, he was the son of the late Betty Joan Perrell & James Curtis Nesbit.
Mike was a graduate of South Rowan High School; he was also Veteran of the US Navy. He was a warehouse worker for Fiber Industries for many years. Mike was of Baptist faith and went to Woodleaf Baptist Church. Mike loved listening to music, riding his motorcycle and watching wrestling and westerns on TV.
Preceded in death are both parents James & Betty Nesbit and a nephew Jason Henrickson.
Left to cherish his memory is a brother Wade “Dr. Nez” Nesbit (Carol) of Concord, NC, sister Shirley Henrickson (Perry) of Salisbury, NC, nephew Chad Nesbit (Julie) & family, niece Wendi Crawford (Mick), and his longtime companion and love Linda Gaultney.
Graveside Service: 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Williams officiating. A graveside military honors service will be conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Joint Services Honor Guard.
