Jeremy Calvin McCluney Jr.

Jeremy Calvin McCluney, Jr., 21, of Kannapolis, North Carolina, passed away and was found on August 26, 2021 on 1314 Haywood St. in Kannapolis, NC.

Jeremy is survived by his parents; Christy Michelle McCluney and Jeremy Calvin McCluney, Sr. Also, four brothers, Garrett McCluney, Devaun Dontré Howard, Genesis Isaaih Grooms, and Jaden Isaac Grooms. Grandmothers, Charlotte Elaine Goodman and Lynn Clinard.

Jeremy was always a beautiful and humble being. He gave off an angelic type of light. He was a pleasant child, yet, very quiet and mostly to himself. He loved his brothers very much. He was raised by his mother as a single mom, along with his twin brothers Genesis Grooms and Jaden Grooms. At 15 he went to stay with his father.

Jeremy was very distant and would never open up about anything that was bothering him, to either of his parents. Jeremy kept most of his personal life and activities a secret to his family. This caused alot of misleading information to his friends and acquaintances. Jeremy was very loved by his family, he just wouldn’t open up about things that really matter.

Jeremy was very protective of his brothers Genesis and Jaden. He would always make sure they were settled in and ready for class before class would start. He was strong, well mannered, polite, and patient. He was an inspiration to me especially, I was so proud of him. He was an Angelic soul who brought light to any room he entered.

My sweet child will be missed by many! We love you Jeremy “Jerediah” McCluney! And we always will. We will meet again one day, until then my sweet loving child, Fly High!
