Joseph William Rowland Jr., 72, of Salisbury, NC passed away Saturday April 16, 2022, from cancer.

Joseph was born in Norfolk, VA into a military family and he grew up in Philadelphia, PA. Joseph was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Air Force. He moved to Salisbury, NC in 2010. He was employed with the Department of Public Safety, Piedmont Correctional Institution in Salisbury.

Joseph is survived by his daughters Samantha Rowland and Stefanie Rowland. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth Rowland, and his sister Patricia Roman.

The graveside service will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Monday May 9, 2022, at 1pm.
