Joyce Kelly Obituary

Joyce Faye Bowers Kelly, 84, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Rowan County on March 31, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Nesbitt and Dewey Bowers.

Joyce worked as a seamstress for Laguna Sportswear and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Kenneth Walser; second husband, Charles Bow Kelly; sister, Betty Campbell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Faye Beaver (Gene) of Salisbury; niece, Elaine Swokowski.

Graveside Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Historic Salisbury National Cemetery, 202 Government Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144, with the Rev. Darrell Worley officiating.

Memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Mission Trip Fund, 830 Choate Rd,, Salisbury, NC 28146.
