Lois Davis, 79, of Salisbury passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in Rowan County on February 7, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Childress Davis and John Lincoln Davis.
Ms. Davis retired from Stanback after 20 years. She was a member of Sloan Lake Community Church. She loved her church, gardening, camping, her dogs, putting together puzzles, and playing with her grand babies and great-grand babies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Williams and sisters, Brenda Davis and Carolyn Davis.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Toni Michelle Myers (Ray) of Salisbury, Tammy Shoaf (Charles) of Salisbury, and Pam Marcum (Ray) of Rockwell; brothers, John Ervin Davis of Salisbury, Larry Wayne Davis of Gold Hill, and Billy Ray Davis (Ramona) of Salisbury; sister, Magdeline Martha Watson of Tarboro; grandchildren, Tony Ennis (Carolyn), Megan Hoggard (T.J.), and Maranda Marcum; great-grandchildren, Tallulah Ennis, Trey Hoggard, Xavier Hoggard, Kai Hoggard, and Chevelle Myers; nephew, Robbie Watson; nieces, Renee Keliher, Tonja Hughes, LeeAnn Cook, Laura Beaver, and Norma Carlye.
Service: 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Sloan Lake Community Church, 140 Glory Rd, China Grove, NC 28023 with Pastor Zack Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
