Roger Tones Obituary

Roger Frederick Tones, 86, of Salisbury, peacefully passed away on Monday May 24, 2021 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born in Westchester County, NY, on December 10, 1934 to the late Laura Moriarty & Fred Tones.

Roger worked as a poleman and telephone installer a lot of his life. Roger was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Salisbury. He also enjoyed playing games with some special friends, working on puzzles, and going to the gym.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Richard Tones.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Martha A. Tones of almost 13 years, son Scott Tones of Hawaii, stepdaughter Cathy Lange of Pa., special friends Joel & Georgine Plowman and Joann & Guy Brown.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at the Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, Pastor Dale Kinley & Pastor Dale Robertson will be officiating the service.
