Ruth Darlene (Collins) Walker

Ruth Darlene Collins Walker, 76, of Salisbury went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 26, 2019, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

She was born in High Point, NC on March 11, 1943, to Ruth Cook Collins and William Collins, she was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sons Mark and Anthony Walker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tara Clemmons of Supply, NC 2 sisters, Frances “Lou” Shanks, and  Linda Barber, 2 brothers, Ray Collins and Doug Towel, 10 Grandkids and 17 Great-Grandkids

She enjoyed watching game shows and watching the birds eat from her bird feeder outside her window.

She loved her family with all her heart she never met a stranger and all who knew her loved her.

She will be missed by many-but she now has been healed and is on the streets of gold with loved ones.

Visitation: 12:00-1:00 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at First Christian Church, 613 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC  28144. 

Service: 1:00 PM  Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at First Christian Church, with Pastor Christian Williams and Pastor Jonathan Law officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery.
