Shirley Sipes Walton, 67, of Granite Quarry passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Accordius Health of Salisbury.

Born in Iredell County on December 11, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Lloyd Sipes and the late Exie Fox Sipes.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, Frank Walton, Jr. of Granite Quarry, son; Michael Walton of Granite Quarry, stepson; Frank “Trey” Walton III of Chicago, step daughter; Elizabeth Walton of New York, brothers; Charles Sipes of Salisbury, Larry Sipes of Linwood, sisters; Jessie Sipes Beckham, of Statesville, Helen Sipes Hensley of Lexington; Pauline Sipes Wood of Cooleemee, Julie Sipes Fox of Winston Salem; Linda Sipes Misenheimer of Myrtle Beach; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and one great-great niece.
