Syble Dancy Obituary

Syble Eugene Williams Dancy, 87, of China Grove passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at her residence.

Born in Landis, NC on March 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Ada Madge Billings Williams and Jesse Boyd Williams.

Mrs. Dancy worked as a Pharmacist Assistant at Eckerds. After retiring from Eckerds she worked as a substitute teacher for the Rowan County School System. She was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Kannapolis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Williams.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gaither Clinton Dancy, whom she married on January 19, 1957; son, Clinton Dancy (Amy) of Mt. Ulla; daughter, Jackie Hart (Jeff) of China Grove; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
