Terry Waggoner Obituary

Terry Cecil Waggoner, age 77, of Mt. Ulla fell asleep in death on July 25, 2021 at the Laurels of Salisbury.

Born in Rowan County on November 8, 1943, he was the son of the late J.C. Cecil Waggoner and Cluster Layvon Belk.

Terry loved to cook and entertain people, especially family. He loved going to the beach with family and friends. He loved gardening and taught his sons and grandsons many things about auto mechanics, woodworking, and building. Terry also loved his God, Jehovah, and looked forward to being resurrected to a paradise Earth.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Delores Evans Waggoner, whom he married on November 7, 1964; sons, Daren Waggoner (Lisa), Forrest Waggoner (Tamara), and James Waggoner (Shannon); grandchildren, Kailey Brady (Jordan), Courtney Vega (Joel), Weston Waggoner (Mackenzie), Spencer Waggoner, Cameron Waggoner, Caleb Weddington, and Aaron Weddington; great-grandchildren, Joslyn Brady, Kaden Brady, and Aaron Weddington.
